IKEBANA
What a fantastic combination: ikebana (japanese flower arrangement) and ceramics. Truly, one is made for the other - literally and physically. In ikebana, the vase - or container, is considered an integral part of the arrangement, and so for a potter, ikebana provides endless inspiration. All these vessels have been created with flowers in mind. But, because of the nature of both the raku and obvara firing processes, some of them have cracks. However, all have been sealed and waterproofed ready for your floral creations!
